“REST FROM THE WORLD”
Rest from your smile,
from every onlooking eye
ItÂ’s as hard for the light to appear
As it is to disappear,
or to stay like today.
Rest from the world,
from all thatÂ’s wrong
When your loveÂ’s become a song,
youÂ’ve know to be long gone.
So, rest from the talk,
for many miles we have walked
See the rivers are dragging along
Those who stand too much alone,
even both tree and home
Rest from the tide
Save up your strenght
Wisdom never hides at length
See the skies athunder.
